Kleine Abschiede

Heinz Berggruen is the founder of the Sammlung Berggruen in Berlin, a significant collection of 20-century art (Picasso, Matisse, Giacometti, Cezanne). He emigrated in 1937 from Berlin, first to Kopenhagen, later to Berkeley. These are feuilletons and articles written in 1935-1937 in the Frankfurter Zeitung and the CV-Zeitung, a jewish weekly published in Berlin.
